SALUS EXPANDS S SERIES WITH NEW ELECTRONIC PROGRAMMERS

Thursday 01st September 2011

The success story continues for SALUS’ market-leading range of S Series controls, as two new electronic programmers are added to the line-up. Sporting the iconic touch ring fascia for which the S Series is renowned, these latest single and two channel programmers combine simplicity of installation and ease of use with S Series class. They are also newly available in a striking black finish.

Designed for single channel applications, the SP120 is a 5/2 or 7 day time switch complete with volt free contacts. Boasting three on/off periods, an easy to read LCD display with back light and holiday and advance functions, this latest model offers ease of installation and programming. A simple switch alternates between 5/2 or 7 day programming.

Ideal for new installations and upgrades, the SP220 is a feature packed programmer that allows independent control of both central heating and hot water. Whilst boasting the same functions as the SP120, this 5/2 or 7 day programmer with built-in start up programme enables the individual to fully control both channels.

As well as featuring all the benefits of the S Series – including a large LCD with white backlight, touch ring technology and a stylish casing – these two new programmers incorporate RCC (Radio Controlled Clock) for accurate and automatic time and date control. Both models also offer a unique Service Mode Function that alerts the user to arrange a heating service.

Dean Jepson, SALUS’s Managing Director, comments: “The response to the new touch ring technology offered by the S Series has been phenomenal - from both installers and end users alike. We are confident therefore that the decision to introduce electronic programmers to this range will be warmly welcomed.”

SALUS’ range of heating controls includes a comprehensive range of thermostats that features programmers; electronic, RF, cylinder and frost thermostats, together with a line-up of bypass valves, wiring centres, TRVs and control packs. The company also offers a range of solar systems.
